Question by birdnerd76: What is a good way to clean white residue left on our brick house from an aluminum awning?
We had an aluminum awning on our red brick house when we bought it, and the awning left white streaks on the brick from where the rain ran off it and down the brick. What is the best way to remove the residue? (We’ve already removed the awning).

I don’t think there is any product? that would remove white residue streaks from Paint? or what – but no matter, you will have to redye the area of the streaks to match the brick work. Ask for a small can of Brick colored latex exterior paint, at the hardware store, just to touch up the white streaks.
